Ivory comes with "Ivory Library Tools" which can detect problems with its files. 1.5 and 1.6 can also be protected by iLok. Ivory American Concert D needs two things : its files (on the hard disk) and - since 1.7 - the licence key (stored on the iLok dongle). I suppose you are talking about Ivory II (I don't know about other versions).
